NEW Referee Meeting

For new referees and for referees who obtained their first certification after March 2026

Tuesday September 1 7:30 – 8:30 pm Public Library Community Room

To be included in our scheduling database all new referees should send an e-mail to the Referee Coordinators, who can be reached at: wysrefcoordinators@gmail.com  Include parent email address if you are under age 18.

Experienced referees - Do not attend this meeting.

Your next meeting will be before the 2027 spring season.

Information will be sent about the fall season on or about Labor Day weekend.

First games are Saturday September 12.

Referee parents are welcome to attend the September 1 meeting.

If you are partway through the certification process please do attend this meeting.

If you are a newly certified referee or partway through the certification process, please send us an email to let us know. Include a parent email address if you are under age 18.

WYS August Preseason Soccer Fun Skills and Scrimmages for Grades PreK-8

Gear up for some preseason soccer! Come with your friends and work on getting those soccer skills back in shape for fall. 

WYS is offering a week of evening preseason soccer activities coached by professional coaches from Proformance Soccer, the WYS Coach Mentoring group. Boost your child's skills and confidence through fun, high-energy games led by expert coaches.

Late Registration for Grades K-8 for the Fall 2026 Season is still available

Registration for players in Grades K-8 for the Fall 2026 Westwood Youth Soccer season is still possible but space is limited in some programs.

Please consider volunteering to help coach your child’s team! Soccer knowledge a plus but not a requirement. We cannot do it without volunteer coaches, plus it is a great experience to share with your child!

Current Soccer Health and Safety Guidelines

We are very excited to be playing soccer. We are following the advice and directives of our local, state, and federal officials, as well as guidance from health and medical authorities to help provide a safe environment to play soccer outdoors.
