Just
Let Them Play - Saturday, May 17th: Westwood
Youth Soccer will be holding another “Just Let Them Play”
event on Saturday, May 17th. WYS asks that all soccer coaches
(of 2nd grade teams and above) participate in this event.
The object of
this event is 1) to emphasize that soccer is a GAME and it
should be FUN, 2) to emphasize that youth sports should be
a safe place for our kids to learn without them being afraid
to make mistakes, 3) to help parents and coaches, who feel
they must constantly provide direction, understand that the
kids can play very well on their own and 4) to support our
youth referees by eliminating all dissention from the touchlines.
