Spring 2021 Registration

Grades 3-8

Late registration is available for the Spring 2021 season. Certain programs may be closed.

The fee for the 10-week Spring 2021 season from April 10 – June 12, 2021 is $125 per player.

Grades K-2

K-2 soccer is a FULL-YEAR program, so if a child in Grades K-2 played in the fall season, there is NO NEED to RE-REGISTER for the spring.

If a K-2 child DID NOT play in the fall, and wishes to play in the Spring 2020 season, please contact the registrar separately at registrar@westwoodsoccer.org.

Late Fee

Registrations completed after the 12:00 midnight December 7, 2020 deadline will be considered late and automatically assessed a $25 per player late fee. Late fees cannot be waived. Fee waivers will NOT be granted for late registrations. Late registrants will be placed on a space available basis.

Financial Hardship Fee Waivers

Requests for a registration fee waiver due to financial hardship MUST come during OPEN registration from November 9 – December 7. Fee waivers for late registrations will not be granted except if your child is on the free or reduced lunch program at school, as then registration fee waivers are always available.

We Need Volunteers!

Please consider volunteering! Soccer knowledge a plus, but not a requirement. To submit your name to be considered for a Coach, Assistant Coach, or Parent Manager position please select the appropriate volunteer option and complete the volunteer information when you are registering your child during this online registration process. Current grade 3-8 coaches should also volunteer if you would like to continue coaching.

Players must be residents of Westwood or attend school in Westwood to be registered.

PLEASE read before proceeding:

Volunteers: If you want to submit your name to be considered for a Coach, Assistant Coach, Parent Manager, or WYS Board position, please select the appropriate volunteer option and complete the volunteer information when you are registering your child during this online registration process. Volunteer records do NOT carryover from season to season.

This does not mean you have to make a commitment at this time. It is necessary to have the information in the system to be selected as a volunteer. Your LEGAL name and correct date of birth is REQUIRED for a CORI security background check which is mandated by Mass Youth Soccer. If you would like to volunteer to help more than one of your children, please complete the process for each program. Two parents may volunteer to help at the time of the initial registration.

Refund Policy:

Westwood Youth Soccer will honor refund requests for the following reasons:

1.  A full refund for a season-ending injury or illness incurred before the first game or skill session of the season provided a doctor's note is received prior to the start of the season.

2.  If WYS is unable to place the player on a team or in a skill session for any reason and therefore the child is unable to participate in soccer activities for that season.

3.  If the family moves out of Westwood and notifies the registrar before the first game of the season.

Late fees are not refundable. To receive a refund, please contact the registrar. If a refund request is denied, it may be appealed to the WYS Board.

Westwood Youth Soccer reserves the right to refuse participation in its programs if it is felt that there is sufficient concern/cause to restrict participation.

WESTWOOD YOUTH SOCCER is partnering with AdminSports.com, an online youth sports service provider, for processing online registrations. Please note, you will need a credit card (American Express, MasterCard or Visa) and health insurance information to complete the registration.

All questions with an * red asterisk must be answered to complete the registration.
There are multiple steps in the registration process:
  1. Family Setup: You will only have to do this the first time you register. Please use an email address you regularly check as this is the email that all WYS communication will be addressed to. If you forget your password, you will need your correct email address. Please enter Legal names for all adults and children if requested.
  2. Player Setup: Again, you will only have to do this once for each player.
  3. Registration for the season: This contains the information that may need to be updated for each player, each season such as school, grade, health insurance information, emergency contact & medical information.
  4. Waivers: Agree to all required waivers.
  5. Checkout: You may pay by Credit Card or request a Financial Hardship Fee Waiver. Personal checks are not accepted. No child will be denied the opportunity to play soccer for substantiated financial reasons. Fee waivers MUST be requested during the OPEN registration period. If you request a fee waiver, you will be required to submit a written statement supporting the request with financial hardship rationale within two weeks by return email.
