Welcome to 1st Grade Mites Soccer!
Fall Season: The fall soccer season runs for 10 weeks.
Spring Season: The spring season will begin the first weekend and April and will 10 weeks into June.
(*Please note there will be NO MITES SOCCER on Westwood Little League Opening Day Parade, date to be announced later.)
All games are played at the Deerfield school fields (72 Deerfield Ave) on Saturdays.
- Girls play starting at 9:15 - 10:15
- Boys play starting at 12:00 - 1:00
No make-up games will be played. If a game is cancelled due to weather it will be posted here: Weekend Field Status by 7:30 am.
First grade soccer continues to be about the kids having fun while learning teamwork and soccer skills. There is no score kept in first grade soccer, no goalies and no pressure. Our job as parents is to cheer them on & support them.

Reminders:
- A responsible adult is required to stay with the players. This is not a drop off event.
- Shin guards are required.
- Team t-shirts will be given to players by their coach before the
first game.
- Cleats are recommended but not required
- Soccer socks must be worn over shin guards
- The children should bring a water bottle they can easily
identify.
- Please pick up any trash left on your field.
- No dogs are allowed on the field
- Coaches will inform you of your assigned Popsicle duty
