Mandatory Annual Soccer Year (Fall-Spring) Concussion Training for ALL Coaches, Assistants, Parent Managers, and other Volunteers

Westwood Youth Soccer requires that all coaches and volunteers complete mandatory concussion training prior to coaching or helping out in WYS. This training can be done at home/office on any computer or tablet. It will take 45 minutes to complete. You are required to log in on either site, so you do not need to complete the training all in one session, although that is recommended.

There are a number of questions throughout the training checking for understanding. After the final set of questions, you need to type your name into the certificate that pops up and download the PDF file generated by clicking where it says Full Certificate in the CDC version.
You can also log back in at a later point to download your completion certificate onto a computer since it is required to be uploaded to WYS using the applet at the bottom of this page.

Once your certificate is saved as a file on your computer you will need to UPLOAD it to us using the applet at the bottom of this page. You cannot upload from an iPad, tablet, or phone and will need to get the file onto a computer to complete the UPLOAD.

Please choose one of the two concussion training courses linked below: (Both take approximately the same time to complete, although one may perform better for you based on your browser)

Click HERE for the link to the National Federation of State High School Associations Concussion in Sports Course. Requires registration sign-up.

(Below you should see a widget that will allow you to upload your certificate to us. If you do not
see the widget then please try another browser i.e., Chrome, Firefox, or IE.  If you are still unable
to upload then please email your certificate to registrar@westwoodsoccer.org.)

Please only upload .PDF, .DOCX, .DOC, .JPG, or .PNG files.  If there is more than one "." in the filename it will not upload.
The Upload takes a moment and then a confirmation message appears.
